Dynasty Leagues: Long-term RB rankings

Chris Carson is out for the year, but he and the team sound optimistic that it’s not a career-ending injury. Neck surgeries are worrisome, of course, but this one is apparently different than those that ended the careers of other Seahawks – Kam Chancellor, Cliff Avril.  more »

Seahawks RB Penny “raring to go”

Seems like we’ve heard that somewhere before. Anyhow, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said this week that running back RASHAAD PENNY should be returning to action from injured reserve and thatMore the oft injured rusher is “raring to go”. After losing starting running back CHRIS CARSON to injured reserve for a few weeks with a neck injury and fellow runner ALEX COLLINS now battling hip and glute issues, the Seahawks may need Penny’s services. Around the NFL: Bad Penny

So Rashaad Penny is sidelined at Seattle OTAs following a knee surgery. Of course it was minor, and of course he'll be ready for training camp, according to Pete Carroll, who never met a piece of bad news he can't soft-pedal or put a happy face on. A week from now he'll be ahead of schedule in his recovery and a week after that he'll be poised for an MVP season.   more »

Around the NFL: Seattle running backs

A recent story in The Athletic considered Seattle unlikely to re-sign free agent running back Chris Carson. I think he's right that Seattle won't pay Carson that kind of coin, not as certain that Carson believes he can make that much on the open market. A reunion is still possible.   more »

Seahawks RB Penny likely to start season on PUP list

Seattle GM John Schneider suggested late last week that running back RASHAAD PENNY is likely to start the upcoming season on the PUP list.
