Patriots RB Burkhead injures knee

New England multipurpose tailback REX BURKHEAD suffered a knee injury early in the third quarter of the Patriots game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. There was no immediate word on the extent of his injury, but Burkhead was ruled out for the game almost immediately. Stay tuned.

Big day for Bengals Burkhead

With their top two running backs out with injuries, the Cincinnati Bengals turned to fourth-year back REX BURKHEAD on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.
