Romo not likely to help fantasy teams in 2017

Quarterback TONY ROMO has retired from the Dallas Cowboys and will begin a job with CBS as the lead NFL analyst beside Jim Nantz. While speculation about his possible return to the NFL is likely to continue, Romo said he couldn’t envision such a scenario.

Moore back in the mix for Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have addressed the backup quarterback situation for 2017 by re-signing KELLEN MOORE. Moore was set to be TONY ROMO’s backup last season before fracturing his fibula in the first week of training camp. Moore’s deal is for one year.

Romo era about to end in Dallas

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to release quarterback TONY ROMO today on the first day of free agency. The Denver Broncos and Houston Texans are considered the front-runners for the soon to be 37-year-old quarterback, who leaves Dallas as the team’s all-time leading passer.

Romo returns

While there was no fantasy impact, Dallas quarterback TONY ROMO returned to the field and played one series on Sunday against Philadelphia. Romo looked good, healthy, and even had a touchdown pass in his brief appearance. When the Cowboys play next, it will be back to the bench for Romo.
